The History of the Godfather In-Person
The Godfather remains an iconic work of cinema, exploring themes of family, power, American capitalism, and the immigrant experience. Long Island based filmmaker, film historian and lecturer, Greg Blank, will examine the Corleone family as a metaphor, the film's lasting cultural impact, behind the scenes stories and more. We will also look at select film clips to understand the movie's enduring cinematic and cultural legacy.
